He's got GAME!

Last Saturday morning Matthew participated in his first organized basketball game. Let's just say he was beyond excited about the game. The kid had been talking about it for 2 weeks and invited everyone and their mother to the game. It turned out to be a fun event for the whole family. We all cheered Matt and his team on as they learned how to play and work as a team. So without further ado... cue music...Introducing the starting line up for the Owls, #11 @ 4o something inches tall, playing all positions, Matthew....cue crowd....yeah!

Purple Belt

Last Saturday Matthew kicked, punched and flew thorough the air to prove he was worthy of the purple belt. It has been a joy watching Matthew progress in karate and most especially during testing times. I am so glad I was able to capture these shots of Matt soaring through the air. They're my favorite ones. This time Matthew had to break a board with his foot. He did it on the first try. Way to go Matt and Congratulations!
