Lately...

...we have been trying to get back into the swing of things since our vacation up north. That's why there has been such a big gap since my last post. I decided to share some photos that where some of my favorites that were taken these past couple of weeks.

Matthew at a fountain in Downtown St. Augustine on Good Friday. I call this "Reflecting".
Alex learning how to blow bubbles. He had to learn to keep his mouth closed!

Aspen

Our time in Aspen was wonderful. We had a blast! Good food, great fellowship, and lots of snow. We got to snowmobile which was a first for both Greg and I. We also enjoyed a great day of skiing. It actually had been 10years since we last skied and that was on our honeymoon when we went to Whistler, British Columbia. I am so glad we had this opportunity to experience Aspen. What a quaint village with a breathtaking view of the mountains. Seeing those mountains reminded us both of our creator and his word.

A special bag

Have I ever told you I have a bag fetish? Well, I do and it's genetic :)! I am always looking online at bags and purses. I discovered a pattern for this bag online and had to make it. I found this cute pink fabric and had a special little girl in mind when I was sewing. The bag turned out great and I am happy to say the recipient of the bag just loved it. I found out she loves bags just as much as I do.

First Haircut for Alex

Our baby is no longer a baby...now that he has a new big boy haircut. Today we took all the kids to get cuts and today was Alex's first haircut. The curly mullet was just not kickin' it anymore. Yesterday he turned 18months old and at his well check-up discovered he had an ear infection in his right ear. Poor fella. There is a lot going on in this little boy's life. We have enjoyed watching him grow and change. We love you BIG BOY!

Happy Spring!

It's spring time! The flowers are blooming and the weather is beautiful. Today was a busy yet productive day for us. Here is a recap in pictures...Enjoy!

Planting Flowers

Today was a beautiful day to plant some flowers. We bought some marigolds to plant in our backyard. Not only will we enjoy looking at them but they will also serve as protection for our vegetable garden that we will be starting soon. While Alex was taking his nap the rest of us headed out back and planted some flowers.
The kids really enjoyed digging and planting. We discovered several centipedes and worms. They each got to choose a flower and plant it in our flower garden. It was such sweet time together and now we have some of God's beautiful flowers to look at and enjoy.
